Thicket Priory Luxury Exclusive Use Wedding Venue for your big day!
- Welcome to Thicket Priory!
With widest smiles and doors opened wide, this is how I was warmly welcomed to this luxurious wedding venue. The perfect location in the heart of the North Yorkshire countryside which feels like it's from a true-life fairy tale. Rich in history with a modern twist, this gem is just on your doorstep waiting to be chosen for your wedding day.
This building amazes your eye and builds your curiosity room after room. This place was built by Edward Blore the same architect who designed the famous Buckingham Palace. Also, the clock tower was designed by the talented clockmaker Benjamin Vulliamy, who created the iconic "Big Ben". Knowing that you can host your own wedding in this place, alongside the architectural masterpieces, makes you a part of its history.
This wedding venue in Yorkshire has not been open to the public for very long. Thicket Priory is a fantastic, unique, exclusive use venue surrounded by immaculate grounds and includes its very own private chapel to make your weddings more intimate and reduce stress having everything in one place on your big day, how incredible is that?!?
We have been very lucky to capture these amazing photos of Elliot and Jennifer for romantic, dreamy Fairytale inspired wedding photoshoot. For me, it is a photographers dream as this building has so many locations to shoot. Starting from inside, with themed rooms, and outside with the expansive gardens, with swings in the trees and a beautiful lake. These beautiful locations give us an opportunity to create memories and capture your beautiful day which you and your family will cherish forever.
A fantastic real-life couple Jennifer and Elliot Foxton were so relaxed in front of the camera, this is what couples need, just enjoy the presence of each other during the wedding. Jennifer's wedding gown was made by Nicole at Elise Designs which was inspired by Maggie Sorrero dress. It was everything Jennifer was looking for on her big day. Isn't she gorgeous?!
The final Disney Princess look has been put together by talented hair @lottiehaigh and MUA @khmakeupartistry artists. Working together, they transformed Jennifer's style, enhancing her natural beauty to fulfil the shoot theme.
Wedding cake and the meals were like little edible pieces of art, which stimulate all mm's... and ahh's.. on tip of my tongue and in my head. Honestly, it was hard to stop tasting. Massive thanks go to the incredibly talented @babaganoushdining and @wheretheribbonends.
Stationary, catering, cake and flowers were absolutely beautiful and combined all the wedding mood and style into one cohesive piece. Stationary was reflecting the golden edges and the flower motives were also reflected on the cake, as all of this in composition with the flowers and the catering made this a finished masterpiece. Definitely, the devil was in the detail!
This dreamy luxury shoot was organized and styled by "My Pretties UK". I am very grateful for Jen from "My Pretties UK" and her warm welcome to this beautiful shoot. Which is part of my own photography history.
Great atmosphere and fantastic suppliers make this so easy to achieve and fun to capture. On top of the perfect venue and warm and helpful staff, the cosy, romantic and luxurious interior begs you to stay for longer. To know this place you need to come and experience it!
